~ Srozinia ~

Survivor

~ History ~

After she encountered Govan, her life drastically changed.
While she flew through the skies with him, she watched him all the time. She noticed the fragile mind that hid behind the hard shell of a brutal, ravening, instinct-driven dragon. At first, she thought of him of sort of a challenge. She wondered if she'd be able to crack his façade. But as the time passed , she grew more and more fond of him. It took the better part of a month until she realized that she was in love and even longer for her to notice the longing gazes he caressed her with, when he thought her asleep. She'd never been the trusting type of dragon, but this poor being touched her heart. She knew immediately, that if she wanted to be with him, she'd have to open up completely in order to intruduce him to feelings. In a progress of sharing meals, sleeping together and simply spending almost all of their time together, they slowly established a stable relationship. After they had finally given in to their surpressed lust and celebrated their new found love, she took him with her to her lair.

When she was young, she lived in a big community with many dragons. They should've taken care of her, raised her, cared for her, but instead she'd become the victim of one expecially mean derg that would tease and devaluate her every day. She was ashamed of how weak she was, and so she suffered silently through her childhood. But as she grew older she gained strenght and confidence. As she was pushed around again, she didn't passively endure it, but instead fought back. They fought long and hard, he was snapping at her wings and she was tearing tiny bits of flesh from him every time she managed to get near enough. All her repressed anger burst out of her and as finally no further attacks were on her, she looked down and saw the limp body of her aggressor slowly dwindle as it was sinking down to the earth. He was dead.

Even though she'd only been defending herself, she panicked as she realized what she had just done. I killed him, he's dead and it's my fault, it's my fault! Her mind was restless. Even though it wasn't uncommon that dragons killed each other, this was totally different, since he was part of her communtity, supposedly part of her family even though he never acted like it.

After cruising the sky for hours on end, desperate and lost, she decided to tell her parents. She feared the consequences of her deed and her parents had never been neither supportive nor loving, but they'd surely have her back on this, wouldn't they? But as she spilled the whole story of the persistent harassing and the fear she'd lived in, the eyes of her parents grew darker and darker. As she finished, she already knew they didn't truly believe her. When the community catched up with the story, they didn't send her away or punish her, but from that day on, she was outcast. Other dragons avoided her and she was doomed to spend her days in loneliness. One day, she had enough. She was still a youth, but nonetheless she decided to leave for good.

Now being free to unfold her true personality, she traveled the lands and from time to time, she'd befriend some nice dragon and they'd travel on together. With a small group of friends she built her lair. She created her own communtiy that soon became a loving family to her. But she was restless, she couldn't stay at one place for too long, for she was used to the nomad life she lived after leaving her parents. So she left the lair behind, to travel farther and as she met dragons longing for support and company, she sent them home to her newly founded family.

To this lair she took Govan. When he first met the colourful diversity of Srozinia's friends, he was shy, but got used to their presence quite quickly. There, in the safe sanctuary of Srozinia's lair, they hatched numerous eggs.
But parenthood wasn't for them, they left the lair again, to travel the world together, hunting and enjoying each others company; leaving their hatchlings to the caring supervision of their friends.

Every now and then, they do get homesick, and then they pay a visit to the lair, but as quick as it comes, it fades away, and when their wanderlust kicks in, they set out again, always restless but always together.

The short version is: She saved his life. Without her, he'd be dead by now, or so crazy that death might actually be preferable. She brought the light back into his life, she taught him that to love is to care for one another. She taught him that life is beautiful.
The both of them are inseparable. Most of the time, they travel the world together - a passion they share.

Friend (probably)

Obviously, Srozinia has friendly relations to all her clan members, but the withdrawn Oddclaw has a special place in her heart. She's been with her clan from the very start and always stayed loyal through all times. Furthermore, she trusts Oddclaw to have a attentive and observing view of the clan's ongoing politics and often goes to her oldest friend for advice.
