- krova has huge beef with her aunt liutra
- she was experimenting with godsbile since a) she wanted to compete with liutra's Darwin-like scientific notoriety in magical medicalism and patchstitch work b) krova has a background in alchemy (the philosopher's stone type) c) godsbile isn't remotely accessible to dragons outside of virulent so it's not heavily researched
- she booked a lab in the college and was screwing around with multiple samples from aramis and toril and lailuma

- she isnt actually sure WHAT experiment messed up since everything was destroyed
- whole lab was leveled and on fire
- anyway it was that the magic samples were absorbing ambient light magic. since they were in the ruins. this is not accounted for in virulent storage situations

- liutra swooping in and taking over with the janitor made krova so, so mad
- the reason his patchstitch suit is so elaborate is because liutra was stunting on her
- and it does have practical uses (the glass is so he can see. he's the liquid and there's fumes coming off the liquid which is also him. his limbs are thin bands of metal inspired by malune's prosthetics, carved with runes to keep the vapors in, and then moves via the fumes acting as muscles


- was working while attending night class
- got free classes as an apology so who's the winner

- again, living in the ruins was causing magical fluxes, so he had to leave
- and liutra's made virulent a health resort for patchstitch monsters at this point

- so that's the obvious choice

- works at the new ward out in scrimshaw as a therapist
