She was... Perfect. The perfect lifeform, she was told. A genetic experiment manipulated to be absolutely perfect, her skills honed day in and out. She did not tolerate mistakes, and neither did her creators, because she was perfect.

While a lot of the Organisation's efforts were focused on Allison, Sadeas was proud to say she was perfection without needing any of her DNA. Created out of nothing, she was the only one of her siblings that had not melted into goo; she was stable. She was a success.

For almost all of her life, Sadeas was trained to be an assassin for the Organisation. She took pride in her job, in her perfect streak, and scorned the ones who could not keep up with her, cutting them down mercilessly in the Organisation's stead when they proved they could not fulfill their tasks. With her weapon of choice, elongated claws dripping with poison, and razor-sharp fans, she was clearly the best assassin the Organisation had to offer.

It all collapsed in on itself when she was sent after Alicia and Ayin.

She had thought herself so powerful and skilled, and yet, when faced with their power, it was clear that hers paled in comparison, and suddenly she understood why the Organisation was so obsessed with Allison and her powers. Why, even if Sadeas was a perfect experiment, she could never live up to what they were actually looking for. Why the weak assassins were discarded.

If they could not handle weaker targets, how could they ever hope to go toe to toe with powers beyond their imagination?

Sadeas was beaten, even though she tried her best, even though she thought she had them cornered. They were overwhelming, simply said, and despite all her skills, she lost.

At first, she tried to escape, to run back to the Organisation, but was almost immediately struck with the realization that, should she return, she would be executed. She had failed a mission after all. She wasn't perfect, and therefor, she was worthless. There was nothing for her to go back to, lest she wanted to forfeit her life.

She did not know what to do, but it was then that Ayin spoke up, asking if they would kill her if she returned. Alicia had snorted at his question, replying that of course those traitors would destroy whatever weapons did not perform to their standards. That was what Sadeas was to them, after all: a weapon.

Sadeas carefully didn't reply, not wanting to be killed. Not by the Organisation, but also not by Ayin and Alicia. She was surprised, however, when Ayin held out his hand.

"We were betrayed, too," he said. "the Organisation, the Temporal Rifters... they're both traitorous to the core. Join us, and we will end both of their reigns of terror."

And what could she say to that except for yes? It was that, or death by whoever got to her first.

Despite their rocky start, though, Sadeas quickly became loyal to Alicia and Ayin. They kept their word to her, they did not kill her, and they gave her a purpose again. A way to become perfect again, the way she was always meant to be. Being allowed to absorb some of their powers, she was once again close to perfection.

She just had to get all these nuisances out of the way first. The Organisation, the Temporal Rifters... they were in the way.

And Sadeas would cut them down.
