This dragon is the communicator for the Lightweaver! A communicator receives messages from their patron deity, and are to distribute these messages into the realm. It depends on the god how their communicator receives the message. Some give them prophetic dreams, while others speak telepathically. Solstice A jerk. A nasty liar who does whatever he wants in order to get whatever he wants. Solstice is the first and only communicator for the Lightweaver. It is unknown how this dragon has been alive for so long, especially when he looks so youthful and pristine after 500 years. Many wish to know his skincare routine. "Dragons can dream." Is always his response, not caring for whoever asks his secrets. In fact, he does not care at all for anyone who isn't a pearlcatcher, the perfect children made by the illuminated mother. Just like her, he only speaks to them, even though his purpose was to speak to everyone in the name of his deity. He is a cruel dragon who has little love for others, only caring about himself and his appearance. He sees his mother as the highest being in this world, someone that must be respected or else you shall perish. Though because of his role as communicator, the very first one at that, he feels... pressure. Solstice never shows his feelings towards this pressure, even when it damages his ego and his internal pride drastically. Despite being a communicator, he has only spoken to mother a handful of times. Her words were unintelligible, she seemed to be screaming at him for him to do something, instilling a terror within the newly appointed communicator. He had no idea what to do, and nobody to ask for help. He was the first one to speak for the gods, and was alone with his duties. Nobody would have understood. Instead of telling the truth to his followers, he lies to them about how much he speaks to her, saying that they talk to each other every day about even the smallest things. They believe him, of course, since he was appointed by the god herself. Surely he must be telling the truth. A dragon picked by the deities must never be a liar, right? |
