Biography

A former resident of Cinderslag, Fireweed has known nothing but the inner workings of the forge for most of her life. Once tasked with slipping through cracks in massive machines, Fireweed fled from the steely gaze of the forgemasters after her parents perished from overwork. Particularly weak to cold, she took well to the arid plains of Dragonhome, and eventually settled in the Zephyrus Springs as their Fire flight representative.

Fireweed's upbringing has left her in a perpetually dour mood, having lived under people who saw her more as a tool or a resource than a living dragon, and whose attitude towards the deaths of her parents rang of simple annoyance. She is slow to trust anyone, and skilled at reading body language - Indeed, Fireweed is the only individual who has managed to see through Chance's steely poker face. Despite her typical demeanor, Fireweed spends much of her time lazing in the springs, resting a body forever weakened by endless, dangerous work.
