Dreamwalker had a nightmare. The Tangled Wood was full of diseased ridden corpses of dragons, the trees hung barren and swollen with pustules and seething with insects. The ground began to grow moist and pulsate with life, as if the Scarred Wasteland had spread itself too far and begun to swallow other territories whole. He woke up in a fright, and flew to the Scarred Wasteland to find answers to his dream. In Rotrock Rim he found Cecil's clan, and shared with Precious his vision. They both shared a concern of the Plague growing stronger, and Dreamwalker vowed to stay and watch over the Plague lands and their dragons. He made himself strong to fight the infection, and fight infected dragons wandering too far to the Tangled Wood.
After many months in the Plague Lands living in The Hive, his yearning for home proved too strong. With Cecil's blessing, he returned home to the Tangled Wood. Upon first arriving he found the fledgling clan that was being build by Mushroom and Rattle. He offered his vast knowledge and guidance to the young dragons, who welcomed him warmly back home. He sits as an advisor for the clan and mentor for Mushroom and Rattle. The clan revers him as their protector and leader, although their true leader is Mushroom. He passes all leadership to her and helps reinforce her hold on the clan, but even still the clan can see that Mushroom is still young with a lot to learn, while Dreamwalker has experience and knowledge to offer.
