GrimRill was one of the earliest members to join, originally as a simple soldier, but he soon distinguished himself as quite skillful, even in comparison to Merris. Not long after they settled on a new location in the Southern Icefield, the Aberration was vital in defending the lair against the constant raids by the harpy colony nearby.

Grim is the first named, but he has never been heard speaking by anyone in the clan. He tends to function as a sentry, always watching and listening. Rill speaks for them both, and tends to use sly, prodding language, as if his intention is always to get under the other party's skin

Currently, GrimRill is the acting leader of the clan, but his area of expertise is with maintaining the clan's defenses and training others in that field.

The pair has an innate resistance to magic. Because of this, they cannot use magic, including magic items.

Grim likes sour foods. He hates spicy stuff.

Rill, on the other hand, enjoys bitter tastes, and hates fragrant stuff. You'll never catch him drinking tea.

The only individual to ever help them in dire straits, GrimRill regards Treya as the most significant figure in their life, other than themselves.

Rill appreciates her assistance in the past, but is unconcerned with maintaining a relationship unless they can get something from her, preferably for as little as possible.

Grim differs from his partner on this. Rill suspects that Grim actually feels guilty about having left, as he tends to grow unusually irate when discussing the matter, and very quickly resorts to silence.

W E I S S

An observant young dragon, Weiss is currently working on deciphering GrimRill's unique sign language.

Grim has altered his speed and clarity to make it slightly easier for Weiss, and often includes multiple lessons within any given interaction. Other skills Weiss is forced to improve in are stealth, honing multiple senses at one time, and observational skills.

Rill, on the other hand, is working hard to sabotage the Aether's progress while still abiding by his promise to Grim. As with all young dragons, he has a strong dislike for her, seeing her as a future spy for her mother, if she isn't already.

G L O R Y

Grim has tentative hopes for Glory, as he is being raised by his old mentor, but until either Pride or Humility shows an acceptable level of ambition and promise (in Grim's eyes), he has little interest in developing or maintaining a relationship with either.

Rill considers all of their offspring Grim's children. He has absolutely no interest in Glory; even pretending to care is too much effort. As Glory gets taller than them, Rill treats them with maximum disdain for 'perfectly understandable reasons'.

P H A N T O M

Ever since the Aether joined the clan, she has been extremely hostile towards GrimRill, accusing him of unsavory motivations and spying on him.

Grim finds her incredibly irritating, but his feelings pale in comparison to Rill's, who often fantasizes about reliving the glory days and meting out a suitable punishment on Phantom for her actions.
