and well, some of those born to the order see what it really is before it gets its teeth in them. helvius is one of those dragons.

he did not dislike his parents, but their misery was tangible to him from a very young age. yes, he learned the runeblade, and yes, time occasionally swirled right before his eyes, but he would not place those burdens upon his young shoulders. the order passed through a merchant town on the earth and plague border, and he stayed, and his clan went. so it goes.

but there is something he learned there - not from either parent, mind you - yes, it was how to command a room. to fill it with presence. and, well, other dragons like helvius. he is naturally charming, and they trust him near instantly, when they really, really shouldn't trust him at all.

his business is information, and it goes to the highest bidder. other dragons want to be his friend so badly that it is so easy for him to get where he needs to go. in and out without a hassle, no sneaking, no deft of hand. someone wants the information and he has it. he is so dangerous, and yet he has not a blade to lift.
