all those born into the order are taught the ways of the runeblade. it is a need to survive.

not every dragon born there has what it takes it be a shadehunter. this is not a fault, just a fact. the amount of mastery, both in physical fighting and in magics, is something that simply not all dragons could do. despite his parents, germanus was not magically gifted. huge, and glorious in his size and stature, but very little magic sparked between his hands.

it was no matter to him. shadehunting did not pique his interest anyways. too slow, the moving around. too few and far between the fights. he frequented the pits wherever they went, and while he was too young to enter himself, roared along with the crowd during the bloodshed. he needed something that pace. he needed the adrenaline.

it was fun, to guard the wealthy.

if his size and sword did not deter the assassin or thief, than the fight was surely worth it. never mind the pay, he just wants the excitement.
