the name Zaneira seems to have derived from either:

- Zunaira (زنیرہ): the feminine form of "Zunair", which means "moonlight, shine of the moon" in Urdu
- Zanera (زنيره): Persian and Urdu name that means “intelligent”, “sensible”, “wise”.
