Son of Supernatural and Cheer, a pair of train conductors in the Ashfall Waste, Ketchup, alongside his siblings, sought a life away from their home clan, choosing to venture out just a few weeks after he first fledged, and without knowing it, lucking out, as perilous tectonic activity shattered the isle, sending it hurling towards the Sea of a Thousand Currents, where the clan was scattered, and home destroyed.

Still oblivious at that time, the young aether ventured to the south-east to the Shifting Expanse, where he found partnership in Wildcard. Now in good company, Ketchup then spent his developing days wandering place to place, never lost, but not exactly en route either, slowly gathering a group of aether (and one spiral) in his travels.

However, on a trip over the edges of the Scarred Wasteland, he was shot out of the sky by an unknown object, surviving, but changing to be... different, in more ways than one. Spooked by the experience, the group changed course over the ridges of Reedcleft Ascent and over to Singer's Brook where he found a clan willing to take them in, the Anaba clan.

Now, Ketchup spends his days happily harassing a group of researchers in the Bluecomet Observatory, watching over both kin and kith his version of "happily ever after". However, as the news of the destruction of his past home finally reaches the shore, the call to action may be too strong for a wanderer like him to resist.
