Venue-Vert2.png Even as a hatchling, big things were expected of Runas. He spent every waking moment preparing for the Trials and to begin his career as a Councilor afterward. That's how confident his parents and clan were that he would not only succeed, but excel. As such, it came as a huge shock when he not only failed the Trials but his mind fractured as well.

Disappointed and furious, his clan forced the weakened Runas into exile. He was forced to wander aimlessly as the blight slowly ate away at his body.

Runas surely would have perished had he not caught the attention of Quaintana. Right away she could tell he was suffering and intended to put a quick end to him. Runas summoned every ounce of his strength and fought back with surprising ferocity. Impressed by his will to survive, Quaintana used her power to save him. In gratitude, he swore his life to her and has served her ever since.
