Best friends with Neil. Has ink for blood and some powers associated with that. Eyes should be green but they get purple when he gets sick especially with chronic appendicitis that he gets. He is based off an oc of mine I have had since 2016

Cold steel glinted in the moonlight. An even colder gaze peered from under a wide brimmed cowboy hat. "State yer business," a low growl called.
"Down your blade, Rusty, we are not the enemy," a low voice called in response. Rusty peered through gloom as he slowly lowered the blade. His fixed his eyes in the direction the voice came from. He could just make out the form of another Skydancer staring back at him with faintly glowing light blue eyes. A grin slid across Rusty's face. He could recognize those eyes anywhere.
"Neil old pal, it's good to see ya again," Rusty murmured, padding towards his companion through the dense underbrush. Greeting the rest of the patrol, they all turned towards the north and began the journey to the dense oldgrowths of the Northern Forest that fringed a mountainous area that many of the Gladevine's springs flowed from towards the sea. Many clans and creatures called the forest home and many were hostile to their neighbors which meant regular patrols were necessary in the areas where they hailed from. Often the patrol would hunt along the way to free up clan members for other duties. Further, some clan members were better suited for dense forest travel than others. Neil and Rusty are practically attached at the hip and work in sync with each other so it does more harm than good to separate them.
"Nothing to report today," Rusty informed Wynten. "No signs of anything unusual and everything appears normal," Neil added. Wynten nodded approval and waved her hand in dismissal. The two skydancers turned and exited the leader's treetop hut and with a flick of their wings took to the air. It was a short flight to the tree that held their huts on a split level platform. They were not the only ones who lived in this tree as it was a ginormous pine with several huge branches at different heights. Landing on their respective platforms, they both removed their swords and stored them. They hardly needed them in camp and besides that there were guards that were armed scattered about anyway. It was nice to be relieved of the weigh of their metal blades, though it was not too much to impede their flight. Emerging again from their huts, they both took flight again. Their usual stop after patrol is the beach for dinner and to enjoy the sun and surf. Often they would also find trinkets like rocks and fossils and cool sticks. Sometimes other clanmates would join them, especially Query and Nightshade, as the pair had a penchant for exploration.
