-ABOUT-
Gaia was born in the darkness of the Driftwood Drag under the name Ennion. She originated from natural causes, but her parents never registered. Instead, Gaia lived far away in her small but tightly-knit community. Her fellow Clanmates were other tundras, who took in travelers and cared for them. Gaia herself proved to be gifted with plants and had a green thumb. She took care of the plants, gave them all the love that she could, and became a skilled botanist. It was a peaceful life, sitting in the dark and holding plants gently, but as she grew, she knew that she had to one day make her own claim. She would hear the stories of others and search for what was beyond her borders.

She would sign into the Magpie Estate located near the Sunportal as a specialist of herbs. Gaia thought that it would be a normal job, but things proved to be far stranger and far more eldritch than the tundra could have expected. Something was wrong, horribly wrong, and she and the other employees investigated the mystery. One day, she went to perform a task. The next thing she knew she was falling apart. It seems life gave her a second chance. Not as a dragon, but as something greater.

She knew every secret and every heart, and it felt strange to keep calling herself Ennion. So she shed the name and gave herself a new one. Gaia, the body of Sornieth. It was a fitting name. She stood alone. The rhythmic pulse of Sornieth going through the ground. Her multiple eyes saw a strange kind of lux going through the area, so she followed. Gaia knew that something big was about to go down, even if she had never been to Arcane before. Destiny spins, and Gaia watches. She just hopes the dragons she has bonded with will not go too far.
-PERSONALITY-
Gaia has always been a soul full of compassion, both as a tundra and as an entity. She cares a lot about the dragons that she meets and loves to hear her stories. She is willing to lend an ear to those who ask her and because of this, she has gained a lot of friends. She is eager to learn despite her vast array of knowledge and retains an enthusiasm to her that is contagious. A lot has changed in her life, but her cheer is not one of them. That being said, she does know when to get serious, having experienced multiple tragic events in her life.

Gaia, despite her knowledge of secrets, is not perfect, however. She truly does believe the best in everyone, turning a blind eye to the more nefarious deeds that are occurring within her little territory. It is not that she is completely oblivious, it is that she is so desperate to hope for the best. The future is not set in stone, Gaia knows this well as she peers at the infinite possibilities. She just hopes that the best possibilities are the ones that will come true. She sees Sovanna’s devotion, Irwen’s determination, Hibiscus’s love, Swiftflight’s bond, and Rivulet’s loyalty. Those qualities are what she wants to nurture in them.

She has knowledge most other beings do not, and it weighs heavily on her. Gaia does not consider herself above or greater. She simply has more information than others around her. She shares this information with those she comes close to, hoping to get the desired outcome. She succeeds some of the time and fails other times, but she vows to never give up despite the odds that she faces. Ultimately, it is her optimism that makes her go forward, even with eldritch knowledge, even with extreme power. She remains kind.
