Granite

He might be stony on the outside, but Granite is probably one of the nicer dragons you'd meet in Stryke's clan. He's the charming middle cousin you know from family reunions. The one who always has a good story in his pocket, says hilarious things about that stuffy aunt you're not sure about, and isn't intimidated by his fire-breathing grandmother (or electric weilding, in their case).

Granite enjoys long vacations with his mate, Shale, as they check out other lairs and gain a little more knowledge about the world's workings. He calls them "educative vacations" and will bring all his little ones with him on their outings.

"My kids are pretty enough to let it go to their heads," he says, "so I'm making sure they don't grow up thinking looks alone will get them through the world. If that was so," he snickers, "then Dad would've been doomed a long time ago."
