Scrash

Fidgety, nervous, and prone to anxiety attacks, Scrash bore the brunt of Stryke's rage when she learned of his brother's exaltation to Icewarden.
"If I knew the buyer would do THAT, I would've raised the gold for him! Let the Ice-brute bleed gems for the offense."
Now Scrash fears cold. Any icy blow of the wind sends him scurrying back into the warm depths of his cave. But on hot days, his cruelty knows no limit. Bison, mice, and small horses all learned to avoid the open plains of Stormcatcher's canyons should they see Scrash's rusted hide wafting about the thermals.

Scrash never figured he'd land a mate. Being rather humble and unbecoming in appearance, and having a mouth that simply ran away from him when allowed, he put off most ladies. But Fyre found his attempts at arguing with her adorable (if useless). And his speckled rusty hide intrigued her.
She smiled and winked at him
"I bet with a little buffing, that hide would really shine."
"I'm not made of iron" he said, scowling at her.
"No that's not what I meant."
"Well what would you buff a hide with and why would you compare it to iron anyway?"
Scrash, bad at metaphor and even worse at innuendo. But Fyre likes them scrappy, so he won her over despite himself.
