Biography

Nekhbet's nostrils and mouth starts smoking as you approach...

Ever since her physical changes, Nekhbet has become as fiery and wrathful as her element. She is impulsive and stays true to her Wildclaw nature, fighting anyone over any reason, especially to prove a point. Unfortunately, this leads her to challenge whoever so much as speaks with her since she is terrible with words. Where she lacks in charisma however, she makes up for in battle. Nekhbet has proven herself to be one of the best fighters in the clan, and despite her violent behavior, she is very tenacious when it comes to providing for clan members. She tends to over-hunt in order to make sure the entire clan is fed, though it's hard to say if she does this to boast and initiate more fighting, or if she actually cares for the rest of the clan.

It's hard to imagine that someone as unforgiving as Nekhbet would have ever been friendly, but she was not always so haughty. Originating from the Molten Scar, Nekhbet had a kind family and grew up as a Guardian. Like most Guardians, she had a charge, but her charge was a blessing and a curse. Even as a hatchling, Nekhbet felt a deep connection to her siblings. She was watchful of them, protected them, and always made sure they fell sound asleep by her side every night. One day changed her forever.

Before Nekhbet's siblings were barely of age, a battle between Plague and Water broke out near their lair. A clan of Water dragons flooded the area, and a Plague clan washed up nearby. Weary of the foreign clans, Nekhbet and her clanmates rushed out to defend their territory. Admist the chaos however, Nekhbet got separated from her clan, and she stumbled into one of the Plague invaders. As confident as she was as a fighter, she couldn't believe the size of the dragon before her. Not only was the imposing Imperial huge, but he was covered from muzzle to tail in oozing pus pockets, rotted scales, and blood. She had heard stories before of how grotesque Plague dragons could be, but this was beyond anything she ever imagined. Instead of fleeing, she snarled at the Imperial, challenging him. If this was her last moment, it might as well be an act of courage.

Nekhbet was not prepared for what happened next. Expecting the Imperial to finish her with one blow, she instead watched warily as he lowered his diseased face to her level.

He uttered, "I see I am not the one to stop you. I want to see how far you can go."

Before Nekhbet could comprehend what he meant, he exhaled, covering her in a noxious haze. She gagged and stumbled, the plague impaling her lungs. She cried out silently, the pain invading her mind. Nekhbet thought of her clan, her home, her sibling... her charge. She vowed she wouldn't give into the sickness that boiled through her. She couldn't. A burst of energy erupted from her, and suddenly she felt a different burning sensation. A cleansing flame swept through her, wiping out the contagion that threatened to destroy her, but she didn't stop there. She directed the energy at the Imperial, and blasted him. Much to her dismay, he simply stood and took it. The blast ripped through his neck, taking out a good chunk of it, but he merely smiled.

"Come to me... when you have nothing left." With this ominous command, the Imperial took off, aiding his clan to drive off the rest of the Water clan.

Nekhbet watched in awe and horror at what happened soon after. The Plague clan successfully drove out the Water dragons with their Plague contaminating the waters that flooded the area. As the Water clan left, the Plague dragons hastily began to defend themselves from the Fire dragons. It seemed at first that her own clan was winning, their fire easily destroying the diseases the plague dragons attempted to use on them. But a turning point occurred when a mysterious Wildclaw jumped in front of the lines from out of nowhere, and shot out a stream of water from his mouth into the eyes of her clan member. Terrifyingly, as soon as the wildclaw did this, the entire Plague clan followed suit, immediately gulping water, and then turning to spit it out at her clan. Her clan members reacted unfavorably, their fires unable to evaporate the water quick enough, and soon, they were writhing in pain, clawing at their own eyes in a futile attempt to rid themselves from the contamination.
Nekhbet rushed over to their aid, but it was already too late. The Plague clan was getting away and her clan mates were disabled, unable to fight. Frantic and concerned, she attempted to cleanse their illness with her fire while looking for her siblings. They were nowhere to be found, and one of her clanmates spoke to her as they recovered.

"The Water clan... I saw one of them take off with your..."
