ORIGINS

______The Rose-Veiled Wrasse variety of Tropical Aberrations are usually found in the brightly colored Fishpine Reef, where massive skeletons lay adorned in bright coral. Their patterns make it difficult for prey and predators alike to follow as they dart among the ever-moving ecosystem.

______These sun-kissed pink dragons make their home in massive sea anemones, some of the most venomous organisms on Sornieth. The two deadly species have maintained a symbiotic relationship, with the Wrasse utilizing the anemones as their lairs, protected by the venomous tentacles. As the Wrasse go to and from their home, they spread fertilized eggs of the anemone that latched onto their scales and nestled within their frills.

______Many Wrasse may find themselves the new anchor for some of the anemone, often intentionally. New parents of pups in particular will uproot the polyps and plant them on their backs, nestling them between the mane and wings to allow the pups to be taken out of the nest in a safe manner. Typically, the pup's father will bear the anemone and watch over the pups while the territorial mother hunts for food and protects her pack.

Colors: Coral-Mauve 1 & 2, Any 3, XXY with a tertiary color that matches an accent color of the primary/secondary. Variations of the subspecies can be found in other color ranges, but also must be XXY.
Genes: Ribbon, Lionfish, Tapir/Eel, Noxtide, Striation/Glowtail, Frills, Polkadot, Scales
Noted For: pink and yellow coloration, symbiotic relationship with anemone
