Scourge oversees the collection and organization of all books related to diseases, bacteria, viruses, parasites, and all forms of pestilence, and she takes this job very seriously. As the foremost library within the Scarred Wasteland, the Bibliopox Library has an obligation host a thorough representation of topics that might be... neglected... by book collections housed with other flights. They certainly can't trust that a Light clan would dedicate the proper amount of space and importance to studies related to plague.

Unfortunately, Scourge can't actually touch the books anymore without messing up the pages. Phantom doesn't want the books exposed to... excessive oozing. So while Scourge is in charge of the infectious diseases wing of the library, she usually needs to call in another dragon if she wants to shelve some books or read something. It's a pain, but it's what she has to do to avoid being banned from the library entirely.

In addition to books on diseases, Scourge keeps an extensive collection of diseases, parasites, and all sorts of nasty things in her wing of the library, which she collects from all over the Plaguebringer's domain. These are also free for the public to borrow, provided they have a library card, but for some reason most dragons from other flights don't seem all that interested. In fact, some dragons have even asked to borrow certain strains of a virus in order to find a cure! Scourge refused to let them take her precious samples on a matter of principle; no good library would lend out a book to a dragon saying they were going to burn it, right?

Really, the nerve of some dragons!
