As a child born in the Pillar of The World, Fluorescence was a sweet and bubbly child. However, she sought to travel to the lands he could see at the top of The Pillar, and beyond the Domain of the Earthshaker were the vibrant and colourful lands that lay beyond. The vibrant greens and flowery smell of the Gladekeeper's Domain, and the pungent smells of the Scarred Wasteland, Domain of the Plaguebringer, and the bright pinks of the Starfall Isles that floated in the air where his parents told Fluorescence had descended from. These were all such enticing places, but in the little speck that she could see, far away, were the Sunbeam Ruins, the ever brightly-shining Domain of the Lightweaver.
Fluorescence stood on top of the pillar every year, watching the distant silouhuettes of dragons huddle around the Sundial Terrace. The land of the Earthshaker was...depressing, in a way. The Lightweaver's domain however, seemed bustling with activity, and its lands glowed with a brilliant sheen that contrasted the dryness of the Land of the Earthshaker, who mourned the past and couldn't move on.
Honestly, she found him such a bore. This might have been an act of childish foolishness, but as she grew older, she finally found the courage to leave her homeland. It was a little saddening, but the world outside was pulling her, and it was time to go.
From then, Fluorescence proceeded to pass through the Shadowbinder's Domain before finally reaching the Sundial Terrace, just in time for the annual summer gathering, on the longest day of the year. A clan saw her interest in the ruins that engulfed the land, and her colouring which matched the bright lights of the Daylight Sanctum itself, reflecting the stars in the sky, such as her ancestors which descended from space [literally!] had done. At first glance, she would have been mistaken for any member of Light flight or Arcane flight, but her eyes gave it all away.
But the passion was evident in those earth-brown eyes. Passion to see what lay beyond. The passion of an Aether with patterns that mirrored the stars of the night sky. Passion of a butterfly waiting to find its true colours.
This is how Fluorescence found her place in a clan on the Sundial Terrace...)
