Rhiannon

Named for the welsh otherworld queen who is sometimes seen as a goddess and in connection with 3 birds and also horses. According to one internet source, as a goddess: "The Celtic Moon Goddess Rhiannon was born at the first Moon Rise and is known as the Divine Queen of Faeries. She is the Goddess of fertility, rebirth, wisdom, magick, transformation, beauty, artistic inspiration and poetry. Rhiannon manifests as a beautiful young woman dressed in gold, riding a pale horse, with singing birds flying around her head. The singing birds can wake spirits or grant sleep to mortals."

However, the wiki entry only indicates horses, birds, and possibly fertility - though there is a bit about waking spirits and granting sleep.

Regardless she is considered a gracious, lovely queen, her name meaning something along the lines of "Great Queen" or "Divine Queen" and is associated with wealth and a bountiful life.

Furthermore, Rhiannon is said to be wearing gold in most depictions, like this dragon, but also I feel like Veilspun are very much the "My Little Pony" of dragons and that ties nicely into her possibly either being a horse in some stories, or at least tied to horses and Epona. In particular though, she seems to have a connection or at least some things in common with an aspect of a triple goddess named Macha who is goddess of war, horses, and kings. Thus the courageous warhorse familiar.

And finally: Yes. I'm always ignoring the actual gender of my dragons. Deal with it lol.
