Once a place of mystery, the Aether descended upon NGC-6302 to study dark plasma in the center of a crumbling red giant. By calculation it was not set to collapse for nigh on a decade. Unfortunate. Even the best minds cannot predict every outcome; a supernova sparked tragedy. Following an epoch of loss, this desolate corner of space began to glow. From that light ascended lone Aethers, one by one, borne from the stardust itself. (They have no memory of their ancestors.) The NGC-6302 "Butterfly Nebula" dragons have a unique genetic adaptation; they can travel at the speed of light. Perhaps it is the result of some cosmic intervention that intertwined their souls with the stars themselves... 		km6hF14.png
