Biography
Asra
the embittered Location: The Silver Halls, roaming she/her easily annoyed, bitter secretive, withdrawn alignment ♪ Theme ♪ "It's a pain relief," Urim rumbled. "Lady Seifa said it's more potent than a standard health potion." The orc said nothing as he watched Asra shift and fling the vial out of the window with arguably more force than necessary. "...Why did you do that?" Urim rumbled, genuinely curious more than anything. "I don't need anyone's pity," Asra hissed. "I will endure this hell on my own." |
History
Once a charming and silver-tongued mercenary, Asra eventually met her match during a contract she had never been meant to survive; so lost she had become in the lustrous glimmer of gold that it ended up costing her dearly, rendering her flightless and blind. Asra wandered the dusty plains for days, growing numb beneath the pain of her shredded wings and unseeing eyes. She was eventually found by a wandering trader, who managed to convince her to follow him to safety. And though reluctant, Asra knew she would not survive on her own, begrudgingly following in the stranger's wake. The trader had kept his word, bringing her someplace warm and safe, where a skilled healer tended her injuries. The Pearlcatcher prefers to be left alone, though the Citadel's dragons tend to her regardless, clearly caring little for Asra's snapping and snarling. |
Favorite treasures
The mercenary's blade sits unused in its hilt. Asra refuses to let anyone tend it, insisting she will do it herself once her eyesight returns. |
Asra has trouble finding things to occupy herself with within the Citadel-- filling her day by whittling random pieces of wood. Countless of sharpened sticks can be found littering her den. |
Urim keeps gifting Asra beautiful, soft mantles and blankets. Though reluctant to accept the gifts, the Pearlcatcher seems to relish in the unfamiliar comfort of the material used. |
