Within the halls of Baltin's ship, gossip and rumors love to germinate. Among the most widely circulated bits of hearsay is the alleged existence of a ghost haunting the crew; mostly benign, many claim, if not for the fact that the presence of other dragons seems to actively provoke it. The telltale signs are everywhere, if you pay close enough attention: violent scribbles and pleas for help writ in Baltin's book that it didn't write, imperceptible imprints left behind matching the talons of no living crew member, subtle shifts in the latent magical energy, a faint but constant string of bizarre noises that seems to go dead silent once you notice it—or perhaps, when it notices you! The captain seems wary, but ultimately remains unconvinced that such a thing would have taken residence within its ship, and as of this writing nothing has been confirmed. Surely it's probably just a rumor, right? This clan sure does love its rumors...
