Biography

"She is good luck. Mutes are always lucky," is what her birth clan said when they gave her to the Searing Spirits clan. They only wanted to be rid of the hatchling that unnerved them; her own parents included. It was the fact with how she looked at everything, and everyone. A look that seemed to look into their very souls. Arati is usually in a hut she fashioned out of well stacked, large volcanic stones with a native, fire resistant grass for a thatched roof.

Arati is not truly a mute, she just keeps things to herself. She usually knows when another dragon is sick before they themselves do. A dragon in the clan knows they are sick when Arati appears out of nowhere and presents a cup with a mysterious liquid in it, knowing all too well that they are to down it in one gulp. It's been noticed that while her concoctions don't stop a sickness, it does help a dragon's body to fight it. Thus she's the clans main resident healer. Whether by magic or alchemy, no one knows. What is known is that when she is seen, she always keeps a tight clutch on her pearl; ever only uncurling one arm to eat or drink.
