Shadowstreak

Nestled under the dark recess of a cabin patio, Shadowstreak clicked her jaws softly in contemplation. Like a voracious predator, she had the ability to clear the inhabitants of this area within the span a week. Should she take immediate action to eradicate these earthlings? Or perhaps, on the other hand, allowing the inhabitants to confront and conquer the entity could lead to newfound strength and resilience.

Lost in thought, Shadowstreak envisioned the scenarios of each inhabitants potential demise, should she be left unchecked. It was as if a thrilling murder mystery unfolded before her very eyes, or a captivating puzzle game.

Silently maneuvering out from under the patio, her dark insectile form glistened a shade of crimson under the neon lights, creating a haunting image akin to being slicked in blood. From the patio railing a cat emitted a startled hiss, its three eyes wide with a mixture of fear and loathing. Shadowstreak had almost forgotten about the presence of another entity; Elpis, the primary adversary of this area. The fallen star swiftly dispatched threats in its hunting grounds, while simultaneously refracturing and duplicating the beast that resided here in reflection of it's own image.

Shadowstreak rarely needed any adjustments or improvements in her plans. In fact, it had almost become routine and monotonous, lacking any excitement or intrigue to the entity, until she had entered this remote clearing. Elpis had not yet caught the entity, but it had foiled one too many of Shadowstreak's meticulously orchestrated and intricate plans. Shadowstreak chittered and thrilled softly at the thought of her next move to undermine the star, sharp teeth protruding menacingly from her visage. She had longed for a day when she would meet someone--or something--armed with the knowledge and skills necessary to challenge her.

Should they fail to stop her, she would simply tear this world apart, allowing for a fresh start.
