Wisteria

Ever since the meteor shower and the landing of a blazing purple rock in the mist of the jungle, the animals were restless. Only a day after the crash, the meteor had suddenly shattered into pieces. The crater it had initially created was now littered and stabbed with sharp as obsidian meteor shards. In the middle of it all, an unharmed and newly born aether was curled up in a ball. Slowly it unraveled itself as it let out a cry. . .

(Time skip.)

Since the crash, the aether had been wandering the lands for a long time now, with insatiable hunger it constantly traveled for all kinds of sources for food. All sorts of insects, meat, plants, and seafood had been conquered and consumed by her. Eventually, she came across some pink clouds in Starlit woods and seeing it as a food source she instantly bit it. . Though once she did, she no longer felt hunger in the moment. The clouds tasted sweet, almost like. . candy.. She wasn’t sure what candy was but it felt like a fitting name for this cloud thing. Wandering about the woods, she soon felt hunger once more clawing at her before noticing another cloud wisp on by. Instantly she chased after it, and after a long struggle following it, she pounced to reach for it, but failed. It scrapped her claws before it flew away. Growling, she hadn’t realized she was falling till she crashed into a body of water. Struggling to swim, she roared as panic settled in.

Suddenly, something lifted her out of the water, as she heaved for air. Settling down, she turned towards her savior, seeing a sparkling pink and maroon colored Aether with stars and constellations sitting calmly nearby her. She noticed the clouds surrounding him as her hunger called to her, grabbing her attention. Her mind began to fade as she bared her teeth and charged straight towards the cloud, shocking and startling the sparkling Aether. The Aether slightly moved to the left along with the clouds as she barely chomped down on the fluff.

‘ Woah woah! I just saved your life! Are you seriously going to attack your savior? ‘

She growled, hissing before pointing to the clouds.

‘ ..My clouds? What do you want with my clouds? ‘

She gestured eating them as the Aether nodded his head.

‘ Ooh..you wish to consume them.. Are you hungry-…wait I realized I haven’t even asked for your name-what is your name? ‘

“ W I s T e rI A, h u. N g r y. “

Her ragged and deep voice concerned the Aether but nonetheless he kept his friendly demeanor.

‘ Wisteria? Lovely name! Here come with me Wisteria and how about I get you a bite to eat?..Not with my clouds though of course- ‘

Wisteria mumbled a few words with what sounds like an agreeing tone as the Aether who lead her to a nearby restaurant introduced himself as CottonCandy. He tried to explain his cause and the prophecy he needed to fulfill but he lost Wisteria’s interest nearly instantly. Despite this though, Wisteria agreed to help on the cause she’d get all the food she’d wanted *with the occasion she may be able to eat one of CottonCandy’s clouds*. And thus, Wisteria stopped her wandering and eventually after taming her mind with all sorts of cuisines, she took on the job of a cook with CottonCandy’s wife, Roseate.
