Olivine is a small hatchling that had been found wandering the swamplands all by herself. Unable to find her parents, the swamp folk had taken her in, and the Aether has been managing herself well with fitting into the lifestyle. Although her parenting might be a little unorthodox, she's turning out to be a good kid, always showing compassion and care for others. The aether can be a bit odd, though, as she seems to have some kind of instinct to gnaw on tree bark in thin layers. On the bright side though, the swamp is full of other oddballs, so she fits in nicely.

Recently, Olivine has taken up the hobby of pottery-making using mud around the swamp. With her extra set of limbs, she's able to work on various projects at a rate no one has ever seen. She's constantly experimenting with new shapes and styles, gifting away the excess pottery to any unsuspecting dragon she sees that day. She's even tried her hand at sculpting, though she always makes snake statues for some reason... When asked, she just says that she really really likes snakes.

While she may have a heart of gold, she definitely isn't the brightest egg in the nest, as evident from Palus' attempts at teaching her to read and write. She can make out the most basic words, though a lot of their sessions end with Olivine getting distracted or even eating the paper she's trying to read or write on. Regardless, the old guardian still sees hope in the aether and will continue to try to teach her, and Olivine will continue to gift him with vases as thanks.

Although some of the swamp folk wonder if Olivine will venture out of the swamp when she's older, the aether proclaims she'll never leave her home. She's rather closed off about her past before stumbling into the swamp, only saying that it's better than her old home, and everyone had just left it at that. Though, surely with age, she'll grow tired of the same old scenery and want to venture out to someplace new. ... Wait, has Olivine even been aging?
