From between the roots of old trees, the bodies of these dragons slither, twist, and toss in their slumber. It is said that the flowers and weeds which carpet the floor are a product of their dreams and that a sick or dying land is a product of their restless nightmares. Because of this, offerings to soothe them are common. It is said that every so often, these dragons will awaken and seek out a partner to mate with. From this union, new forests are born.
