Vadia hosts a small Inn within the commune. It's a quaint little place, with only a few rooms for rent. The commune doesn't get too many visitors that aren't close friends of existing members, but when it does they always have a cozy and safe place to rest their heads. New clanmates also sometimes choose to stay here for a while before settling in and building their den. Vadia is kind and has a total air of calm about her. Being in her presence naturally soothes others. She moves with purpose, grace, and without hesitation. She's completely laid back. A catchphrase of hers is "Don't worry about it, I sure won't!" followed by a snorting laugh. The inn itself is decorated with quilts, impressionist paintings of nature, comfortable furniture, and a unique variety of knicknacks. There's a lovely stone path leading to the main entrance of the inn, and outside is a stunning and lush garden of native plants. She also provides small snacks and tea, though not full meals. She doesn't want to step on Phyress's toes after all! Vadia is from the Windswept Plateau and spent most of her life there. Moving to the Viridian Labyrinth later in life, she chose to leave her original domain not for lack of love, but for a need for variety. She'd only lived in one single place since her hatch day, and she was dying for a little change! She'd also had some trouble finding a good place for herself in her clan, and had hopped around many different jobs, not sure what she was really meant to do. When first arriving at the commune, Vadia noticed immediately that there was a complete lack of accommodations for dragons passing through. The clan was easily large enough to justify such a place, and as much as she enjoyed camping- she'd hoped to find a bed to rest in after a long journey. There were multiple dragons kind enough to offer their own homes, but despite Vadia's confidence, she's not stupid enough to sleep in a stranger's den in a strange clan she'd never been to before. She sensed a need, and her first instinct was to fill it. She spent a few cycles of the moon constructing her inn, and it wasn't long before she opened her doors. She doesn't charge in coin, instead trading in either goods or stories. The inn has been a welcome addition to the clan, and so has Vadia. She loves it here, and she loves what she does. It's allowed her to make a wide variety of friends and companions from all walks of life, and she finally feels like she is exactly where she is meant to be. |
