Modemus is the well-liked second hand man to the boss. He handles the smaller things for Alras and Nizi, and often urges Alras to take much needed breaks. He's fair, a little mischievous, and definitely loves to tease (in a good natured way, mostly). He keeps no mate but is looking to settle down, though he hasn't had much luck. He also doesn't really keep in touch with any of his children. If they reach out to him he's always receptive, but he'll never be the one to take the first step.

Modemus is fiercely loyal to the commune, Alras, and Nizi. Despite seeming sillier than them (or, well, sillier than Alras at least), he can also be much quicker to jump to violence, particularly with dragons from outside of the clan or newbies who are still, in his eyes, "on thin ice". More often than not this culminates in an angry outburst, but if you get him on a bad day- watch your neck. Most of the clan members familiar with him are very dismissive of this behavior, just rolling their eyes and waving him off, and he often feels remorseful immediately after.

Despite his sometimes sour temper, Modemus is mostly very reasonable, and Alras and Nizi would trust him with their lives and more. He takes pride in all he does and the help that he provides to the clan. He feels he's found a home and a culture he can call his own. He loves both the dragons of the commune and the nature that surrounds it, often going on strolls throughout the wetlands with and without company.

He's a bit vague about his life before he joined the commune, but is very open about everything after and loves to chat. He also brews various meads and wines as a hobby, dedicating whatever time he can to coming up with new flavors and ideas. When not working you can find him focusing on his latest brew or napping with his familiar.
