Personality:

Sweet, naive, and energetic, Anemone is the baby of the clan and kind of their communal adoptive daughter. She loves everyone very much, even the members that are terrible with hatchlings, or kind of odd, or not very likeable. She doesn’t see any of that—they’re all just her big happy family and she loves them to death.


Backstory:

Her backstory is somewhat dark, although Anemone herself doesn’t know it yet. Her father was an unhinged, cruel dragon who caused the Outcasts a lot of trouble. Eventually, there was a struggle, and Orion killed him. Even though he was a terrible dragon and a terrible father to Anemone, Orion struggles with some guilt about what he did and whether he should have told her the truth. Decency is firmly in the camp that lying to Anemone is the right thing to do, that she can find out the truth once she’s older, but Orion isn’t so sure.

Anemone’s best friends. They are similar in age, as the girls hatched shortly before Anemone joined the clan, and love to play together.

Aurel
When Anemone joined the clan as barely more than a baby, Aurel was an older hatchling, and the two immediately bonded. Despite their differing personalities, Aurel saw herself in Anemone, a young orphaned child who had never really known another dragon of her kind. Anemone sees Aurel as an older sister and looks up to her greatly, hanging on her every word.
