Muriel is the fastidious launderer who offers their services to the residents of Stormport and the travellers who pass through the area. Though some may describe them as as brusque, Muriel merely has little patience for those who view their profession as menial.

Opalescence in particular is often on the receiving end of their biting remarks, as the juvenile pearlcatcher has little respect for dragons he deems beneath his station. However, he tips exorbitantly enough for Muriel to launder his clothes. Muriel’s neighbors frequently question why they continue to endure his arrogance when he never seems to change, but the skydancer seems to enjoy the opportunity to continually put the young lordling in his place.

In addition to washing clothing, Muriel is in the business of soapmaking, adding fragrant herbs sourced from their surroundings. The resulting blocks are often sold to travellers looking to resupply.

Born and raised in the Dragonhome, Muriel has known no other life. Though they insist they are perfectly content where they are, they have been tucking away a bit of coin, perhaps in the hopes they may see the rest of Sornieth one day.
