In the sands of time, two dragons did dwell,
Benevolent guardians, their power did swell,
But the two trickster deities had a plan in mind,
To wipe them from memory, leave no trace behind.

They spun a web of deceit and lies,
Twisting and turning, they clouded the skies,
The guardians' names began to fade,
Their memories lost in the tricksters' charade.

For centuries, they lay forgotten and still,
Till a descendant of the Witchborne, with a will,
Drew with all their might upon the magics of old,
And summoned the guardians, as the stories told.

With a roar and a flame, the guardians appeared,
Awe-inspiring creatures, their power revered,
The trickster gods trembled, as they knew,
So like rats, they ran, withdrew.

With the guardian's memories restored, these ancients did vow,
To protect the Witchborne forevermore, till the end of now,
And their descendant, who had summoned them true,
Was hailed as a hero, for the great deed they'd do.

And so the tale goes, of the ancients of old,
Whose memory was almost forgotten, but one was so bold,
This descendant of the Witchborne, with their magic restored,
Summoned the guardians back, to protect once more.
