About the Kingdom:


Appearance:


A dark and eerie place inhabited by the most vile of creatures, DARKSYNN lives to its name by enhancing the greatest desires of mortal kind. Anyone who steps in mustn't let their emotions take over, lest they be greeted by the Temptor who empowers them and takes over.



The realm is shrouded in darkness, and ruled by the mighty Temptlord, Demigod of Temptations. His servants, the Temptors, linger around as well, helping their lord regain power after multiple losses against his greatest foe - who also betrayed and stole his rightful kingdom from him.


Being known for its scary and otherwise unsettling atmosphere, no one really knows how it is to live in this realm - and they don't really want to find out. Within the realm lies various locations, from caves to what appears to be forests...But the most important would be the kingdom, in which the Temptlord reigns and watches over his servants, making sure they continue to do their work and earn him more power.

The kingdom is surrounded by jagged, dark materials said to give the Temptlord more power the closer someone gets to them, and even moreso when mortals underneath the realm are being tempted by their desires. Once they're sparking with energy, a single touch from the tip of his claw will grant Temptlord enough power to obliviate an entire planet with one enormous beam.



There's no set direction to head in order to reach the kingdom, much less leave the world entirely. It's said that when one thinks they're finally out of the realm's spooky fog, they're met with a more terrifying sight than the last, and even end up in the kingdom...Before being brought to the Temptlord.

What happens then is uncertain, but it's been suggested to never look for an area surrounded by deep fog on the outside, or you're never going to come back...



Food and Diet products:


Almost every meal consists of meat, but gathered from other places.

Due to their hatred toward the Light Kingdom, the Temptlord summons beings to sneak into that realm and bring their creatures for him and the Temptors to feast on.


Those creatures are said to have the richest and freshest meat, and are beloved by many as a feast. However, not very often do all of them get a chance to eat due to a certain Temptor, and there has to be a lot captured in order for them all to have a bite.



They also have various seafood and the occasional organic meal consisting of plants, but the latter is very rare. The Temptors are mostly satisfied with meat products, and very rarely waste any morsels they have.


Drink products are usually based off each Temptor, and of course, the Temptlord. There are some that are also inspired by past citizens and rulers of their former kingdom, before Xero took over.



Some drinks are known as "Lazy Ocean", "Boiling Lava", and "Multi-Green Monster", signature drinks inspired by Sloth, Wrath, and Envy, respectively. Their flavors are similar to a cool tropical drink, a hot fire, and what most would deem "grassy" or "fruity" depending on who drank Envy's. Each Temptor typically deems their drink the best, but when drinking the Temptlord's signature drink, they admit that he has the superior concoction...Or maybe they're just praising him due to his short temper.


The Temptlord's drink, "Demi-Godly Temptation", is said to have enough power to take over one's mind with a single sip, making them crave more before they even finish the first. While this has no effect on the Temptors and Temptlord, any other being who drinks it would immediately praise the flavor and practically grovel at the Temptlord's feet. Mortals are unable to experience this drink due to being unable to survive in the kingdom for less than 3 seconds.


They also made a drink to honor the fallen God of Darkness, Da-Mega, by fusing liquid darkness and adding some strong flavors of what could be similar to grapes and blackberries in the mortal world, in order to create a rather eerie, yet stunning mixture that could taste wonderful to some and horrible to others. Beings who aren't in an allience with the Temptlord deem this drink disgusting and vile, while the Temptors proclaim it even better than Demi-Godly Temptation.



Citizens:


Mortals are not able to survive in the realm, and citizens are very few.

The Temptors and Temptlord are the only main civilians in the realm, but they are continuing to grow their ranks due to another threat that only discovered them a while back.


Due to the Temptlord needing as much power as he can, he tends to devour most anyone that's brought to him, especially stragglers from other realms. However, these beings don't give him near enough power and he's forced to wipe out other realms to absorb their own energy, and even manipulate mortals from his own realm to give him power.


While he cannot die due to evil always existing in the universe, the Temptlord can be immensely weakened and the Temptors temporarily eliminated until revived again by their ruler.


However, there are a few loyal beings who linger, even in spirit, and they do what they can to also help the Temptlord. They knew of his future: To rule the Kingdom of Darkness as the next God of Darkness. But due to the betrayal against not only the God of Darkness and Temptlord, but the kingdom as well, they hold a grudge against this being and strive to help Temptlord gain ultimate victory.



Military:


The military is non existent nowadays. In the past, the Temptlord was Head General, after being trained by a most ruthless leader. After that leader deemed him worthy, he retired, but was immediately killed by a guardian from the Light Kingdom.


To honor this leader, Temptlord denied the promotion to "Head Admiral", and requested that the role of Head General be the final stage. This became the greatest change to the military after his promotion, and Temptlord still remembers this leader from time to time, swearing to continue his conquest for world domination.



However, the Temptors do take a slight role in the military, mostly Envy as the 2nd in command and otherwise messenger of new tasks. Otherwise, one could pretty much deem that after Xero's attack on the kingdom, the military was no more, and never bothered to rebuild from the ground up -- However, Xero built his own army, which could arguably be stronger than the one under Temptlord's former control.


The Present:


DARKSYYN is mostly quiet as Temptlord regains power. Thriving off dark energy, evil desires, and lust for revenge, no one has heard from it in a while. It's been rumored that maybe Temptlord finally gave up his grudge against Xero and now wants to focus on his own life, or even stopping the latest threat, but no one really believes that he of all beings would consider such a thing.



Every once in a while, there can be an increasing darkness surrounding the realm, and this is when it's certain that the Temptlord is regaining more power than before, preparing his next assault...Or perhaps act of defense against those who threaten him.
