Syndiana is a legendary beast of the deep, a mer-orca leviathan retired to the comfort of the dark trenches of the icy waters. her hide is riddled with faded scars from brutal fights from her younger days of being a warrior, but even in her old age, she is a formidable opponent for any creature who even dares to challenge the mighty mer.

Syndiana is not only a venerable warrior, but also an endearing mother. For several years, she had disappeared off the maps and radars of the other leviathans and guardians. Most of the sealife thought the great mer-orca had finally perished to a witty landdweller's trap or to natural causes, but none of them would have anticipated the comeback of the leviathan and two little calves by her side. Since Syndiana's reappearance, no one has dared to question where the two calves had came from, nor who had fathered them. The two children had since grown into fully fledged orcas and has left the small pod that they had came from. They have come to be known as Sylas and Sylph, and both of the two mysterious mer-orcas radiate a magical aura that anyone would feel from a few tail-lengths away.

Many old landdwellers spoke of her with terror and unease as she was known to be the most fearsome of all leviathans, being able to create huge waves that could destroy sturdy ships with a mere flick of her broad tail. Most sailors whose vessels have sank out in the vast ocean almost never make it back to their families alive to tell the tale, but those who do never forget their encounter. Nowadays, she is nothing but a mere bedtime fable to young hatchlings, her true location ever so muddled as the water that she resides in.

Syn's full name is Syndiana, but prefers to go by the former unless in a formal meeting or encounter.
She can level a planet but has the kindest heart that anyone would ever see, especially to her own offspring and old seafarers that bear no harm to the fragile ecosystem.
Syn wields a trident made of pure bone, etched with ancient runes and symbols that glow faintly in the dark.
It is rumored that she had created her own children from a mix of her own bone marrow and her aura, an unnatural practice in wielders of magic, and despite it being a bit far-fetched, she has never denied or confirmed it once.
