Parsnip

Parsnip's earliest memory is of wandering the Shifting Expanse uncertain, nameless, and alone. While quenching his thirst in a cactus grove, he encountered a young Tundra dragon who was similarly confused and companionless, and they agreed to journey together for security and company.

After several days exploring the Expanse, the two dragons — who by then had settled on the names Parsnip and Pneumonia — discovered a small cave in the side of a large cliff. Nearby was an oasis, with towering golden spires visible in the distance. The pair decided that they had finally found the place they were meant to be. Working together, they turned the cave into a snug and comfortable home.

Parsnip has found that he is adept at hunting and foraging, and he enjoys cooking with the resulting ingredients. He hoards cookbooks, and is always trying out new recipes. In the course of furnishing the cave, he discovered an affinity for yarncrafts, and the cave and its residents are now slowly being covered in items he has knitted or crocheted.

As a Guardian dragon, Parsnip's charge is Pneumonia, his first friend whom he now thinks of as a sister. Pneumonia's enthusiasm for alchemical experiments keeps Parsnip busy and just a little bit scared, but he wouldn't trade her for the world.

When he's not cooking, crafting, or chasing after his sister, Parsnip tends to his many potted plants and increasingly ambitious hydroponic garden.
