She was too young to remember anything before she woke upon the shores of a riverbank, nestled within shimmering reeds. The sand lining the banks held an opalescent sheen, and the river's current shone like the stars above; Citala dwelt in this glade for what felt like eons, for even brief time feels like ages to a child, and though the land that kept her was like a dream, she was hopelessly alone, or so she thought.

Food was always left for her in the morning, and there were toys; stuffed dragons made from old patterned cloth, trinkets made of crystal.

A crystalline encampment in the Starwood Strand, this small clan was formed between Abraxus and Yahenni. Although forming a clan was not their intention at first, Vilde Chaya has become known as a place of safety for the ostracized and outcast dragons of Sornieth.

One of Citala's adoptive parents, Yahenni found her nestled within her bed of reeds on a particularly cold evening. Unable to leave the little hatchling, they quickly swept her up and brought her home, their heart utterly stolen. Citala tends to refer to them as a maternal figure.

An entity which has dwelt within these arcane wilds for millennia, Messier took care of Citala in secret for much of her early life. The Little Moon only ever caught brief glimpses of this spirit she refers to as 'Auntie'.
