Story Introduction:
Marvealle joined the clan shortly after it's move to a Venerable Lair in the Twisting Crescendo. The clan was big, but disorganized, with dragons hardly knowing what to do and the hoard and food stores meager and pathetic.

When Marvealle showed up at the clan's lair, she carried with her an emerald pendant and her name, nothing else. However, upon seeing the emerald pendant and hearing the dragon's name, the once leader, Nimuriel, took her in and stated that at long last, the great clan leader he spoke of had found them to lead them into prosperity, claiming her pendent was a sign of that and her name was the same as the great clan leader's.

Marvealle, a young adult Pearlcatcher, took to the role of clan leader as Nimuriel wished for her to do. She was young, she thought, but perhaps she was more capable than any of the others here. So, clutching her pearl, her soul, for comfort, she accepted the role as the Great Clan Leader.

It was as Marvealle reached her first hatching anniversary that tragedy struck the Wind Clan that she was named leader for. An unexpected illness hit the clan hard It was many of the oldest members that first fell, going with Windsinger to serve in spirit. Then shortly afterward, the rest of the clan fell victim. Members fell to the sickness left and right. Until soon, only a few remained.
