Chickory

Their healing presence has a calming effect on wildlife. The animals that follow them around or chill with them for a bit are content to relax. Hanging out with them is like calling "Base!" if the food chain were a game of tag. When the carnivores are hungry, they're free to wander off far enough their hunting instincts will kick back in. Prey animals lose the peace aura sooner, giving them a head start and safety lead.

(Still figuring out other details like how to prevent them from just being piled in prey animals calling base all the time lol - like maybe there's a feature to this aura that encourages them to go live free after a little breather. Chickory would also encourage this/let the animals know they shouldn't spend all their time in the aura, they will miss out on life. Also, for prey animals, it would be necessary for their young to not grow up in this circle so it doesn't interfere with their survival instincts outside it.

Chickory probably stays on the move, but they're an idling sort of wanderer, not in any hurry, wandering the forests of Sornieth and visiting with those they meet. I think they also have the common druidic speak with animals ability so they can communicate to the animals how important it is that they don't over-rely on the aura, gentle warnings before maybe Chickory can be like "Go live your life for a bit now, hm? If I don't see you back in this form, we'll meet again in another." sort of deal, I don't know.

Mostly, I'm just working on the lore that will make it okay to keep birds and snakes together as apparel without being like oh those poor animals must be SO stressed out together. As such, you can assume at any given time those are different budgies and snakes around them? Or maybe they are the same, they're just technically not always there all at the same time as one or two go off here and there to live life. Just like in tag, you can't call base indefinitely. It's a rule.)
