Biography
look how much treasure i have after buying him
Thats Doomguy!
Doomguy was once a humanoid in the time before dragons, the Second Age. His people were highly technologically advanced, and tore multiple holes into their own reality, which they called portals. Demons of their own ancient mythos emerged through the portals and mounted an attack on their kind.
Doomguy himself wasn't anyone out of the ordinary, although he was a warrior. But after one of the Demons killed his beloved pet bunny, Daisy, he mounted his own solo rampage on the creatures from another world. He became an expert on attacking the creatures, and sealed himself in their realm to finish them off.
The magick of their world, combined with Doomguy's hatred, kept him alive far beyond his original lifespan. The Demons couldn't kill Doomguy, but they were skilled at turning mortal humanoids into demonkind, and attempted to use their magic to force him to become one of them. He began to mutate, his arms and legs growing to beastly proportions, his back hunching, his face extending far beyond the reaches of his old warrior's helmet. Wings, webs, and a tail pried their way through the skin of his extremities and back. But the mutations only made him a more powerful warrior.
He emerged from Hell briefly in the Third Age, finding his world had been submerged underwater. The ancient mines for Demons' Argent Energy had long been submerged. Unable to breathe, he drowned. His own blood, stained where claws and wings and a tail had emerged from his own flesh, seeped into the waters of the Fishspine Reef. The dragons crafted by the Tidelord took on a form similar to Doomguy's final body, but adorned with gills and webs so they could survive in the depths.
The largest similarity between Doomguy and these modern Guardians is not their beastly form, or their solitude, but the ferocity with which they defend that which they love. Every Guardian's charge originates from the ancient yearning of their progenitor: the loss of an innocent creature who could do no harm to its murderers. They find themselves drawn to protect something of their choosing, always searching for a replacement for Daisy.
his familiar is a creature called a "cacodemon" that refused to kill him but also refused to leave his side and it did kill some other demons but demons do that sometimes so he doesnt THINK it's allied to him. it's really hungry though so he has to keep padlocks on his fridge. he did swear to kill all demons but this one is a weirdo so he's letting it live for a little bit out of curiosity
