The estranged noble Apophis finds it hard to live up to the expectations often put before him by his parents and grandparents, and often finds himself gripped with panic that his family would be most disappointed in him. In spite of this, he does his best to uphold a regal facade with those he engages with.

He avoids discussion of politics with his friends and those closest to him- He is absolutely terrified that his guise will slip and he’ll be revealed to be nothing more than a well-off Imperial who comes from regal blood.

He does his best to reassure his children that, no matter what, he’s nothing but proud of them. Proud of their choices, the paths they forge- No matter what, he’s going to love them, be proud of them, and be there for them.
