Mimosa

One of the many poems attributed to characters of the pre-Lovecraftian mythos that has thoroughly devoured my lair is sung from the perspective of a bride-to-be, and finding Mimosa made me realize that's exactly how I envisioned her. Skydancer was the perfect selection for a Valentine's-themed dragon; the long, swan-like neck, the slender figure, the gracefully rampant posture—it's all perfect for a representation of youthful romance and prospective marriage! To remark upon something more tangible: Mimosa is yet another example of why Stained is the best gene ever, hands down, no contest. It makes Rose a much softer color, more elegant, for lack of a better word. The yellowish hints of color are perhaps my favorite element of her base appearance as a whole, so I really like the incorporation of the daisy flowerfall. I don't actually see it used as often as some of the other recolors in the lineup, so it's refreshing to see it used here and used well.
