Biography
Tuvok was settled, if not happily, at least comfortably, in his clan. He had it all - a mate (Lovely wildclaw by the name of Chandara ) a heap of hatchlings, an honored position - but - but - something felt... wrong.
In his restlessness, he (and a party of similarly-feeling clanmates) begged his clan leader for some time to go exploring. Wander to other clans for a little while. Breathe different air. That kind of thing.
So there he was, content to wander with his slowly diminishing crew (perhaps, given the time and the space, they could have become a clan of their own...) when they stumbled across clan Taranau.
There, he met another young vagrant. The lady Pella, 'gifted' forcibly from her home clan, unhappy with being forced from the comfortable aura of the arcane to the stark, mechanical land she found a space in, detested somewhat for her coloring ("Too dull." "Will never sell." "She looks like she's wearing pajamas ALL THE TIME.") and her 'gift' status (like the White Olyphant of old) - he fell in love, instantly.
His presence has calmed the grumping considerably - in fact, they'd been granted a coveted nesting period. Assuming they could dig a cavern for the hatchlings to live in before the date came, of course.
Old heart, old sorrows. It never came to be. In their happiness, he turned a blind eye to the strange, and failed to heed the forboding prickling in his mane until it was too late. Far too late.
On dark and moonless nights, he howls his sorrow to the sea, whipping the charged waters to a froth with the winds.
