uses the bacteria created from her plague magic to help cure illness and disease, instead of fighting with it. can be very sarcastic and has a dry humor. her bedside manner leaves much to be desired, and bird suggested borealis focus on the research side of medicine instead of working with actual patients. this allowed borealis to thrive at doing what she loved and kept already miserable patients from being upset further. everyone knows she means well, and genuinely wants to help her clan members get better, she just forgets to remember other's wants and feelings sometimes.
