SloorpinSpaghet was an unusual name indeed, but it was one the Undertide has always worn with pride, he won it with horror. As a newly-hatched boy, the massive infant Undertide's surivival instincts overtook him: he ate, ate, and ate. He bit through the jelly eggshells of his siblings and consumed his own kelp nest, a grizzly picture that reminded horrified onlookers of his namesake. "He's shlorping spaghet!" "look at him pssssshupsh it up!!" the onlookers shouted. His parents were frozen in shock, and had to make a very difficult choice that day. Such a criminal child was a terrifying thing to see, so he had to be sent away, with a name, and nothing else, to face trial.

An old-fashioned pearlcatcher sat on the stand, and glanced at him apathetically. "You here to get outta prison or what? Make it quick, what's the deal?" she asked in a low, gravelly voice. She peeked her monocole up at him briefly and left him with no further eye contact.

"P-pwisom?" the literal child asked

The Pearlcatcher sighed and finally looked at the Undertide, the only time she would ever see her client's face. irritated and un-open to offering further explanation. SloorpinSpaghet was unfazed by her glare. Eventually, she looked away and replied. "Yes, prison. What did you do?"

"Nuffing! I didn't do it! I'm hungwy!" the infant dragon pouted.

And suddenly everything made enough sense to the Pearlcatcher to make him a case.
