DESCRIPTION

Surasa's first memory as a hatchling was not the warmth of scales surrounding her and her siblings nor was it the scent of a parental dragon. Instead her egg was washed away in a landslide and later into the sea. Her fate was grim even inside the protective shell of her incubating egg, but by miracle - or helping hand from forces in the deep dark - her egg found safety in the entangling embrace of a dark Kelp Garden near the shores of the Shadow forest. As a guardian laid on land but born in water Surasa never learnt to fly but instead swim like any fish with her strong wings to guide her through the current and the thick kelp around her. Thanks to her the Kelp Garden has grown stronger than ever and the small Veilspuns named her their queen - mother of the Kelp.
