My first stop was somewhat unexpected! I was pulled into a terrible storm, but luckily I was able to find shelter among a small clan located in the mountains of the Southern Icefield. It was quite crowded, as they were already hosting an entire clan, along with several other travelers that they had rescued, or that had found there way here, as I had.
I became very well acquainted with another traveler named Shattershield, and we spent much of our time talking about the weapon techniques he had learned in his own experience, as well as those taught during his own stay. It was very enlightening; perhaps someday I'll try to learn how to fight as well, someday.
Now that the storm has cleared up, he is preparing to go, and I am eager to leave this cold place. I would love to journey to a clan that is a little more sophisticated; this one is quite rough and simple.

The Out of the Way Tea Shop
I'm writing this while I have a moment to breathe! All of Sornieth is celebrating Night of the Nocturne and I am no exception. I've flown with huge flocks of Nocturnes. Eventually my flight dropped me in the strange lands of the Arcane. I found myself in the beautiful and confusing Starwood Strand. This place is teeming with dragons I couldn't quite understand. I ran into a massive Undertide who claimed, "If you could just find my walrus, I'll share all the pearls in his belly. For you see he won't stop eating all the oysters."
The only thing that kept me from becoming hopelessly lost was following these little signs that were placed in the most unusual places. One of them was attached to an Aether who would not remain still. When I finally found the Tea Shop I was instantly handed an apron and a serving tray by a Nocturne named CookieMilk, "Thank the Arcanist you're here. NOTN (She pronounced it "Non-th") is the busiest month of the year and we need help! We can't pay you much, but you're free to eat all the pastries and drink all the tea you want!"
Work, eat, and drink I did! The pastries were so curious, extremely delicious of course, Butcher's Fig, Sour Strawberries, Wisp Fruits, and all a manner of local Starwood flora were used in preparing. But they did all sorts of things to a dragon, change their colors, make them grown and shrink, lend them a few extra heads, or force them to speak in rhyme. Why at one point I was a crimson Mith the size of cypress and only spoke backwards. The key was to drink the Tea to return to yourself again.
As NOTN winds down and things at the Tea Shop calm, I think it's time for me to move on. I bid the wonderful and odd dragons of this place farewell. With my bags and belly full I take to the skies.
