Janvie is a bubbly socialite with a fasion taste accented by gold ("all real gold, blessed by the Earthshaker himself!") He's quite the charmer, and easily befriends even the most reclusive of clanmates. He knows everydragon's favorite holidays, and goes out of his way to wish them a good one. He is absolutely smitten by the dashing Captain Amelia, of all dragons. The two get together every few moons when she's ashore. Janvie loves how muscular and brave she is--he gapes in awe as she recounts the latest tales from her exciting life at sea. Amelia occasionally brings him exotic and surely expensive jewelry that he insists is just too much, but she only winks with her charm that gets Janvie all flustered.
The only dragon he doesn't always go the extra mile for is Bones, the smelly brute. And Janvie assures that he means literally smelly. "Most of the time we get along just fine, but when he makes something like frog wine? I need a day just to fumigate my den!"
Janvie's second-best friend in all of Sornieth is his Rainbow Nightmare, Rarity. His first, top best friend is the elusive Starlite. Whether he suspects her mysterious career choice or not, he'd never admit it. He lights up when she returns after days from wherever it is she runs off to, and doesn't hesitate to update her on new merch lines that graced the Apparel Marketplace since she's been away. Secretly, he's confident that she's some sort of talent scout seeking new stars for The Real Housedragons of the Viridian Labyrinth, his favorite radio show. His friendship is genuine, of course, but it would be nice if she would approach him with a star contract sooner than later…
