Bones crafts nasty, experimental alcoholic concoctions, all bizarre enough to nearly qualify as a new branch of alchemy. Tundras tend to avoid the clan's territory purely for the smell of Bone's brews filling the air, and most other dragons tend to find him unsavory and a bit brutish. Despite that, he's not a harmful dragon, and has a few loyal customers. His favorite and most frequent is Verona, who shows up every few days already tipsy, and who dishes out her most recent battle stories or idle gossip. Bones den is the clan's epicenter of gossip, as dragons will only approach his stand in desperate need of an escape, where they will often willingly spill their grievances and aches to the excited Bogsneak.

Though no one realizes it, Bones may know the most about each dragon in the clan. He realizes that his den may be a little mustier than most, so dragons seldom visit for reasons other than purchasing a new brew. However, he's a fantastic listener, and will patiently hang out as dragons approach him crying, raging, or elated. As a result, clan members almost always leave with a better mood than they had when they approached, not from the alcohol, but from airing their woes to a thoughtful listener. Bones just smiles and wishes them a good one, then goes back to mulling his frog wine or podid-flavored moonshine.

Considering his tenacity for throwing unexpected ingredients together, there's no doubt that he's accidentally brewed some bona fide poisons once or a dozen times. He occasionally makes them on commission, usually requested by the clan's ambassador, Balsam, or by the intimidating and horribly creepy Bronze. Though he's sworn to secrecy when brewing such confidential orders, the ones from the Imperial in particular always leave Bones' hackles raised for reasons he can't quite explain.
